Our farm
Brew the story
From our family farm in Brazil to your cup in Australia. We proudly bring our coffee directly from Colheita das Alegrias, our family farm in Barra do Choça, Bahia, Brazil.
Colheita das Alegrias is more than a farm. It's a family legacy.
Hugo’s grandfather, Otávio Dias, purchased this land in the highlands of Bahia nearly five decades ago, where he grew coffee for years.
Today, that legacy lives on through Hugo’s uncle, Marcos Fenício, who looks after the farm with the same care, patience and deep respect for the land that started it all. With a focus on specialty coffee, he continues to improve quality year after year, growing better coffee through better practices.
And Hugo? He grew up running around that farm. Now he's taken that coffee halfway across the world to Australia, and built Field Drip around it.
High altitude. Rich soil. Exceptional coffee.
Nestled in the Planalto de Vitória da Conquista region at 950 metres above sea level, the farm benefits from mild temperatures, fertile soil, and the kind of growing conditions that specialty coffee thrives in. The result is a bean with natural sweetness and clean finish.
Every bean grown on the farm is organically certified by IBD, Brazil's leading organic certifier.
B Corp certified. Because we care about more than just coffee.
Colheita das Alegrias is the only farm in the state of Bahia to hold this standard. B Corp is a globally recognised certification awarded to companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Not many farms get there. Ours did.
Growing coffee. Growing community.
And their commitment goes beyond certification. The farm runs the Colheita das Alegrias Association, a non-profit initiative dedicated to educating and supporting small coffee producers across the region, helping them improve cultivation practices, harvest quality, and their livelihoods.
The association also offers literacy classes for children and adults in the local community. Great people doing great things.
